Scotland #4

Random Seaside, Oregon Images

Friday Miscellanies*

From my backyard to the Olympic Peninsula to the iconic Mt. Rainier.

*Will be in Scotland and Brooklyn over the next three weeks, so posting a variety of not so related images as my last post before departing.

From my Neighborhood

One of the perks of living in the Arbor Heights area of West Seattle is the view of the Olympic Mountains.

Seattle Rail Yard

Version 2From the Lucille St. bridge, looking NW. Some of rail lines leading into Seattle. Some of the spurs off of these main lines are not in use today as industries have relocated outside the city limits or just closed down.

Blowin’ in the Wind

Just a few blocks from our house this view presents itself. This view is looking southwest along Marine View Drive and Puget Sound. When I took daily walks I would walk along this section of Marine View Drive. One of the perks of living where we do; just a few minutes walk from a pretty cool view. Hasn’t changed much in the 60 years I have lived in Arbor Heights.
