My grandson, Elliott and myself, having a bit of fun at Coney Island in August of 2019. The parrot is real.
I took this image with my Pentax K-x, which has 12mp as opposed to the Nikon D610 DSLR I usually use. This image almost looks like a film image, maybe due to less pixels as compared to newer DSLR models.
Taken a few years ago on an overcast October day.
Our grandaughter a few years ago, in their Portland, OR neighborhood. She’s now a teenager.Time passes too quickly.
Keystone Korner, in San Francisco, was a jazz and blues club in the late 60’s till1983. It apparently moved to Baltimore in the 80’s, which seems weird. I was only 18 at the time this photo was taken so would not have been allowed in to listen. There is some disinformation online that the club didn’t open till 1972. I didn’t time travel to the future 2 years when I took this photo, so I’m convinced it opened in the 60’s. On the bill when I took this photo ( on a very cheap camera and scanned in to an iMac) is Boz Scaggs and Benny Cecil and the Snakes (couldn’t find anything online about Benny on multiple search engines).
This was taken a few years ago when I was regularly visiting Portland, OR.
Just a quick note on the ads you are seeing. I’ve avoided allowing ads for ten years. WordPress nudged me a couple of weeks ago so I thought I would give it a try. If it turns out to be a bust or more of an annoyance than it is worth, I’ll figure out a way to turn off the ads. My guess is that only sites that generate a lot of traffic see any sort of monetary reward. My site, although having quite a few Followers, has very little traffic.
