Seventy four year old photographer, cancer survivor living in Seattle, WA. Currently under going Chemotherapy and soon to start one year of Immunotherapy. Update: 24 Aug 2025: Ten months of immunotherapy completed. ☑️ Now will continue immunotherapy "indefinitely" ( as of October 2025).
The bridge, located in the South Park neighborhood of Seattle, was completed a couple of years ago. Just this last year it won a design award as best bridge of 2014. It was both fun and educational to watch the bridge being built and attending community meetings along the way.
Location: Alki Beach Park, Seattle, WA. While my grandson, Adam, was throwing popcorn in the air it seemed like a good opportunity to take a few photos. Shot Wednesday morning, between storms. Ferry in the far background plying the waters of Puget Sound.
