Bouquet of Roses
A look at some roses from our yard this year.
Her Middle Name
Our daughter’s birthday is June 3rd. Her middle name is Rose, as is her daughter’s middle name. Happy Birthday!
The Blue Moon
Went to the Blue Moon Tavern last Saturday night. Two local bands were having a record release party. Advertised as Seattle’s ” most infamous bar”. The list of literary figures that have spent time in the bar can be seen on this link. I like the one where Tom Robbins, the author, called Pablo Picasso from the bar and actually got through to him, but Mr. Picasso refused to accept the overseas phone charges. The murals in this post are on the west wall of the exterior of the bar and were taken with my iPhone.

A Bit of Smokey, Seattle Haze
These were taken during one of the less-smokey days we had this summer. Still, the visibility is affected. The BC forest fires robbed us of many nice, summer days.

Pigs on Parade #15 Conclusion
This is the last image I have to share of the Pike Place Markets ‘Pigs on Parade’ event. A piggy bank seems a fitting end to this series.
