Health update:
I’m a week away from my follow up CT scan. This scan will validate ( or not) that the Targeted Radiation I did in Dec/Jan was successful.
Last Friday I had a dermatology appointment to address some skin issue I’ve had for a few years-actually started right after my first encounter with NSCLC, in 2019. It was a new dermatologist for me, so he wanted to do a full body exam. Everything looked pretty typical until he got to the back of my left, upper thigh. There/was a patch of red skin in a place I would have never noticed. He took a biopsy, but is 99% certain it is basal cell carcinoma. When the biopsy is finished he’ll call me with results and next steps. I’ve been so focused on my lung tumor …well, this event took me by surprise. So, now tracking two cancers in my body. 🤷🏼♂️🤔.
Wishing everyone a belated Easter. Warmer weather is on the horizon for us here in the Pacific Northwest 🤞🏻.

One of the perks of living in the Arbor Heights area of West Seattle is the view of the Olympic Mountains.

Blowin’ in the Wind
Just a few blocks from our house this view presents itself. This view is looking southwest along Marine View Drive and Puget Sound. When I took daily walks I would walk along this section of Marine View Drive. One of the perks of living where we do; just a few minutes walk from a pretty cool view. Hasn’t changed much in the 60 years I have lived in Arbor Heights.

Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains in the background ( snow-topped) yesterday ( Mar.11th). We had a couple of hour window between rain storms :-).
Young Seagull
Location: Alki Beach Park, Seattle, WA. While my grandson, Adam, was throwing popcorn in the air it seemed like a good opportunity to take a few photos. Shot Wednesday morning, between storms. Ferry in the far background plying the waters of Puget Sound.
Churning Waters
The latest Pineapple Express hitting the West Coast. This afternoon, the wind was gusting to about 50mph at Alki Point and the water of Puget Sound was filled with whitecaps. It was difficult to stand in place to take photos.
