Our daughter’s family ( who live in Portland, OR.) has a next door neighbor named Mary. When Mary is away at work I stealthily walk around her backyard flower garden with my camera. Here are some results of those clandestine adventures.

Fall Palette

Cathedral at Kylemore Abbey
A short walk from the large Kylemore Abbey is the Gothic cathedral. Hopefully you get a sense of just how remarkable the place is considering the remoteness of the location and the terrain.

Tall Daylily
This daylily in our backyard stands about 5 feet tall. Today this blog reached a milestone of sorts, having 300 followers! Wow! Humbling. Thanks to all for allowing me into your mailboxes!
Hosta Blossoming
The smaller of two hosta plants I have is in bloom. Always a fun subject to photograph.
