Fish and Fowl

 A look at a small creek in Renton, WA. shared by spawning salmon and ducks. This urban creek looks very polluted with oil runoff from nearby streets and parking lots. I don’t think the salmon made it much further. Along the Duwamish River

The new North Span of the 14th St. Bridge (South Park) is in place, vertically. The new bridge is coming along. Other images of working vessels of one type or another. Barges are loaded with just about anything you can imagine, trucks, cars, boats containers, etc and take the cargo north to Juneau, AK

Tall Ship at the South Street Seaport

DSC_8071-001One of the tall ships moored at the South Street Seaport Pier. Prior to this area becoming a tourist destination it was called the Fulton Fish Market.

United Nations

The United Nations building as seen from Roosevelt Island. Currently, there is a large construction project going on that is creating a traffic nightmare on the front side of the building.DSC_7847-001
