Fall Images (con’t.)

The palm tree is actually right across the street from the “Palette” image in the previous post. A little bit of everything here in the Pacific NW, I guess. The wildflower is from the Duwamish River area and the other two images are from our neighborhood here in Arbor Heights, West Seattle.

Crocosmia and Trespassing

The two leafy images are from our backyard. The other three, of the Crocosmia, is  courtesy of our great, next door neighbors. I did trespass to get some images, but confessed ( via email) a couple of days later. The confession included an image from my trespassing adventure which got a response of “cool”.
Thanks Andrea and Chris!

Sunrise

Photos were taken from the Sunrise side of Mt. Rainier. The lodge is at @ 6400′ elevation. Trails that lead up to the glaciers, alpine lakes and other ridges start from this lodge. This day we took a short trail called Huckleberry, steep, but short. The outcropping of rock is fascinating. There are spots along the trail, viewpoints I guess, where the drop-off is a direct fall for hundreds of feet. I have a thing about heights so I stay back from the edge at those points along the trail.
