The iconic VE Day image rendered in mural format. Pretty amazing! Also, a street scene from what looks like 1945 Manhattan.

Saturday Fair
Mid-Town Manhattan on a Saturday afternoon. A fair or something has attracted this large number of people.
Leavenworth, Wa.
Some views of the Wenatchee River at Leavenworth. Sorry about the blurry jumper photo. Normally I wouldn’t post something blurred-at least intentionally. The jumper caught me by surprise and I had to shift the camera at the last second to catch him in the frame.
Close to the Maddening Crowd
View of Times Square and also a large crowd of people in Midtown Manhattan attending a food oriented festivity.
Corner Meeting
Corner meeting on 7th Ave. in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Patchwork
On Albina St., a young man is scraping, patching and painting the side of an older building. The paint on the building was lead-based. I passed my concerns to the fellow up on the ladder ( ‘Shouldn’t you be wearing a respirator?) and he didn’t seem concerned. Also, the stuff he was scraping off of the side of the building was falling directly onto the sidewalk. Seemed like he could have had a tarp or something to catch the lead-based paint? I guess I should just mind my own business? Smart Car……Not so smart young man.
Hitchcock and a Brooklyn Subway Station

A view of the F Train, I believe, at the 7th Ave. station in Brooklyn. Much like Alfred Hitchcock inserting himself into his movies, if for only a brief moment, I have captured myself ( Mr. Bluestar2012, formally speaking ) in one of these images. In the background is the irresistible palette of the graffiti artist, also known as a ‘building’. Photos were taken on a Sunday morning so that is why there is an obvious lack of commuters.
