Bike was spotted on Beach Drive in Seattle and the sailboats were seen in LaConner, WA. moored on the Swinomish Slip. Brick building is in LaConner and the bridge is in LaConner over the Swinomish Slip
Just a quick note: Last weekend I did replace my expired MacBook with a new MacBook with a retina screen, etc. It appears I will be continuing this blog for as long as my creativity and technical gadgetry continue to grow or is replaced. This is blogpost#2301! Enjoy!
Summer is about chalk drawings and humongous sunflowers, so large the trunks have trouble supporting the flower. This flower was over a foot in diameter!

Note:My seven year old Macbook Pro expired yesterday. I did most, but not all, of my photo and photoblog work on that machine. Apparently the logic card died and Apple, in the spirit of planned obsolescence, does not supply that part any more. So, I am in the process of deciding what to do next. Since 2008 I have enjoyed doing this blog and don’t want it to end due to some mechanical failure.
The top photo, in background, you can see work being done on the river bank. They are totally cleaning and refurbishing the bank and I believe the area will be some sort of conservancy area when done.
