Waiting for a subway train at an unknown station in Manhattan at midday.

Absence
Due to illness I didn’t post for a couple of the worst days. Seem to be doing better now.
Views of the Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn.

This Being Sunday
I thought I would post a view of a steeple* and another rooftop that looks much like a steeple. I don’t think I would want to be the person who re-roofs the secular steeple.
*Note: Composition 101: Avoid light poles, in the frame, while shooting steeples :-).

Sundays Brownstones

Again, indulging my love of this architectural style. Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Avenue of the Americas
Radio City Music Hall and Simon and Schuster. Our son works for Simon and Schuster, on the 17th floor. I took a few photos out the window of his office that I will post soon.

The Lower Halves
Spotted at the MOMA.
Still Looking Up

Glass & Brick.
Let’s Dance
Spotted on the Avenue of the Americas.
Artwork on Roosevelt Island

I think the artwork relates to the FDR Four Freedoms Memorial Park that is currently under construction on the southend of Roosevelt Island.
Rooftop Decorating
Different uses of NYC rooftops. Seemed like a mild version of privacy invasion, taking these photos.

Above the Crane
On the tram, from Roosevelt Island, as it makes its descent into the Manhattan station.

United Nations
The United Nations building as seen from Roosevelt Island. Currently, there is a large construction project going on that is creating a traffic nightmare on the front side of the building.
