Stained glass window in Galway, Ireland. The multiple spirals, I believe, are considered ‘sacred geometry’ and have been used as symbols for millennia.
From modest to ornate, headstones of all ages and types can be found at Green-Wood. Early Dutch settlers to Wall Street Barons. The pond is really a nice feature. I’ve visited the cemetery three times and have probably only covered 30% of the site.
Amidst the rubble and decay a few stained glass windows still exist, along side a security camera to protect what is left of the building complex at the old Seattle Brewing and Malting Co.
South facing windows on a Presbyterian church on Capital Hill. Seems like the southern exposure has done some damage over time or, maybe it was just the grey cloud cover that day.
