Fall Palette

Note: My photo display will be  extended 10 days, to Oct.14th. A few things have sold so today I am taking a couple of more images to the salon to fill in those vacant spots. Capitol Hill Hair, 514 19th Ave. East, Seattle, WA.IMG_0491

Reminder/Notice

DSC_5260-001 DSC_5262-001Just a reminder that my photo display is still going on at Capitol Hill Hair. Tues through Sat. from 9:00AM to around 6:00PM. If you live in or near Seattle please feel free to stop by and take a peek. I will probably be stopping by myself this Saturday around 11:00AM to straighten frames and make sure everything I put on the walls is still up on the walls–gravity has a way of pulling things down. The address is: 514 19th Ave. East ( basically, 19th and Republican, east side of street on ground floor).

Display at Capitol Hill Hair

Here are some images from the display I hung this afternoon at Capitol Hill Hair. I have mentioned this in a previous post, complete with best hours, phone#, etc. It has been about 1 1/2 years since I last showed some of my work. Marketing is not my favorite thing to do :-).IMG_0529-001 IMG_0530-001 IMG_0531-001 IMG_0532-001 IMG_0537-001 DSC_5261-001 DSC_5262-001 DSC_5264-001 DSC_5268-001 DSC_5272-001

Shadowy Interaction

Spotted in Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle recently.

My last post from home as we leave early Sat. for Ireland. I will make every effort to post while traveling. I’ve never considered this a travel blog, per se, but it might become one for a short time. On another informational note: After I return from Ireland I will need to have a conversation with the salon where my next show is due to start in September. A new wrinkle in my schedule has come up this past week and I will be out of town for a few days that first week of September. I hope to be able to get everything in place by no later than September 5th. I am working with both the Labor Day holiday as well as the artist who has the August slot. For the Seattle followers of this blog I will get something definitive by the end of Aug.

Scrapyard Closed

There are quite a few metal scrapyards along the Duwamish River here in Seattle. This one, adjacent to the 8th St. Park ( actually a micro-park) closed recently. Now they have the daunting task of cleaning up the grounds.DSC_5065-001 DSC_5067-001 DSC_5070-001 DSC_5071-001 DSC_5072 - Version 2-001

Signage

After this week my posting may be a bit irregular. The following three weeks I will be on the road in Portland, OR. and then onto Ireland for 10 days. Posting from Portland is fairly easy as there is Wi-Fi at my daughter’s home; Ireland may be a bit more spotty, but I hope to post from our travels there as well ( via my iPad Mini), depending on availability of free Wi-Fi spots. I won’t be taking my Nikon, but between my iPhone and a Samsung St150F digital camera I hope things will work out. After we return from Ireland I have ten days to put the finishing ideas together for the September show I have at Capitol Hill Hair. I’ll be posting a notice about that as well as map and directions on both the blog and my Facebook page.DSC_5132-001
