You can tell the tourist season has descended upon Seattle when the Market is overrun with camera/phone camera bearing humans aiming at the same object. The Alaska Cruise Ships ( currently, a total of 3 ) disgorge their passengers on Fridays for a frenzied weekend of sightseeing and by Sunday afternoon the ships slowly parade, one after another, up Puget Sound and to Alaska. Tour guides with pink umbrellas and stuffed animals.
This building, in NE Portland, is slated to be demolished soon. I looked in a window and could see that the interior, due to a leaky roof, has lots of black mold. The building is located in a residential area, but may at one time been a commercial venture. My guess would be that some developer will build a couple of houses on the lot. Keep you posted.
