On a rare, warm ( dare I say ‘hot’) day in the Pacific NW these two children found a way to cool off. This water fountain is in downtown Portland, Oregon, adjacent to the Riverplace Walkway .

Alameda St., in NE Portland, is a pretty posh neighborhood. I guess posh does not exclude being a bit different? The entrance door reminds me of a checker board. I am not sure why someone would place a life-size replica of a jockey on their property.
