Sunrise Hike
Just a few of the things we saw as we walked up to the Huckleberry Trail on the Sunrise side of Mt. Rainier. The moss just hung like long strands of hair. The deer just walked out of the brush and onto the trail, coming within 15 feet of me.

What would a nature trail be without high tension power lines? The Interurban Trail probably started out as a maintenance road for the power company and morphed, over time, into something the public could use. 
Mt. Rainier-Sunrise
Yesterday we took a day trip to Sunrise, on the east side of Mt. Rainier. As you can see it was a beautiful day! Will be posting more from this day in the future.
Safe Inside
Safe inside the Conservatory at Volunteer Park in Seattle. The tropical plants are amazing to view.

Paddle Boarding
Seems like an odd Winter activity, paddle boarding. These two were quite a ways from the shore. With the lens I had I just couldn’t bring them in closer.

Diving Class
Diving class just off shore on Alki Dr. in West Seattle. Saturday mornings there are usually a group of divers at this location or on the other side of the point, two miles from this spot. If you click to enlarge the image you can see Mt. Baker in the center background.
