Thought I would dig into the archives today. These photos were taken a few years ago using my Minolta X700 and scanned into the PC. The location is the North Head Lighthouse at the mouth of the Columbia River on the Washington side.
Although we didn’t know it at the time, this day was probably one of our last pleasant days before the seasons shifted. The NW has been in the grip of an Arctic Cold the past few days, very uncommon for us this pre-Thanksgiving holiday. As I type this it is snowing, but rain is predicted (thankfully )for the afternoon.
