Vacant
A view looking south along the upper deck of the Viaduct along Seattle’s waterfront. A few times a year the viaduct is closed for maintenance, marathons and seismic retro-fitting. The viaduct is a major transportation vein for North/South traffic. It is eery to see it noiseless, sans vehicles. Of course, like a few other cities with viaducts, there has been a push to replace the viaduct with either surface streets ( like San Francisco ) or a tunnel ( such as Boston ). It looks like the tunnel idea has won and soon work will probably start, once all of the litigation has been worked through.

Fall Collage
A departure from what I normally post. I enjoy putting collages together. A bit like a puzzle getting the sizing and location of each image. Madeleine is our granddaughter who just turned three.
