First Hill Fun
A sheared-off telephone pole now used as an art project of sorts. Baby crying sign…?????
14th Street Bridge
I have been following the progress of the new 14th St. Bridge from the start of the demo. Thought I would post something fairly recent to mark the progress. I have a few images from this past week, but they are still on the chip in the camera.
White Bleeding Hearts
It seems like this variety of Bleeding Heart is seen less often than the pinkish version.
My Niece’s Daughter
I rarely do portrait work of any kind. I just find it easier to work with inanimate objects. Having said that I thought I would share a photo I took a few years back. I have always thought that I had really captured a moment in time with this image of my niece’s daughter.
Layers of Paint
This building on First Hill has been abused so badly over the years. Multiple layers of paint and posters nearly disguise the brick walls.

There are some interesting brick buildings on 12th Ave. on First Hill in Seattle. Some have sadly fallen prey to graffiti, posters and more.
