The first ‘town’ you run into on the east side of the Cascades is Winthrop. The small town has a western them going complete with wooden boardwalks. Although in the old days I suspect it was a horse tethered to a post on main street rather than a high horsepower, four mag-wheeled hot rod.
Taken with the Minolta X700 and scanned into PC. This shot was taken during a short road trip through the North Cascades and down through Eastern Wa. three years ago. As a break from the current Spring photos I thought I would post a few from this trip in the next few days.
Unleash your imagination for a moment and perhaps you’ll see ………..a universe, a planet, an orb of light or maybe just a child’s bubble drifting momentarily in space.
We have a fairly large rhody in our front yard. As it blossoms each year I am tempted to take mostly macro shots. These images were taken with the old Nikon 55mm F3.8 lens, which is fun to play with the exposure, etc.
