Seattle Sun

This was my second attempt at capturing the odd shade of sunlight that afternoon. I did use a Polarizing filter, but no post production work on color or saturation. The light just had this brownish tinge to it. Seemed odd to me at the time. I think this image is closer to what I actually saw. It was dusk about an hour later. DSC_0026a

An Eye on You

From the Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle. A quick note: I will be on the road the next 10 days traveling to Santa Maria, Ca. to bury my dad’s ashes that I have had stored in my house since his passing in March of 08′. I will be taking my MacBook  & camera along, but not sure how much time I will have to edit and post images from the road. Please understand if I don’t post. I will, hopefully, have an abundance of material to post when I return on Aug. 2oth.

In the meantime, keep your eyes and hearts open.

Large Lens, Painting or ?

Our grandaughter, Madeleine, standing behind a large lens on the playground set at Lincoln Park, near our home. This image, on one level, looks like a very old photo or painting hanging on a wall. Well, maybe my imagination is getting the better of me? What do you see?Large Lens
