I’ve posted some images, in the past, taken at the Seattle Brewery site in Georgetown ( Seattle ). These two images represent some of the reworking of images from a couple of years ago.
The winner of this race was boat#180, the blue sailboat, with #131 coming in a close second. In the second image, in the background, you can see the north side of the Boeing Renton Plant, where all of the 737 models are assembled, including the one parked outside the large door.
South Lake Washington on a Saturday morning recently. These sailboats are controlled remotely. The operator of the sailboats controls the rudder and mast with the large RC unit they carry around, guiding their scale model sailboats around a course, just as the full sized versions do. It really takes many of the sailing skills to navigate these boats as it does a full sized version.
