Although access to the underside of the bridge has been fenced off there are still reminders of a time when access was not discouraged. Sadly, there are remnants of homeless camps as well as graffiti.
I’m not sure why people put these gargoyle-like items in and around their gardens. This one seems more benevolent than most, but still it kind of creeps me out. I always feel a sense of negativity when I look at one. Maybe this is a thumb-sucking gargoyle?
