Spotted in Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. Due to being in Portland the past few days I have not been able to post. As evidenced by this I appear to be back in Seattle.
Clematis
I have a black thumb when it comes to clematis. I have made numerous attempts to grow this vine over the past few years. Not sure what it is this plant needs that I seem to lack, but some gardeners have great luck, such as these examples show.

I wanted to step back in time and dig something out of the archives that I don’t think I have used before. This is a moon-rise over Elliott Bay and south of Downtown Seattle area. I think this was taken with a small, point and shoot camera over 5 years ago.

Elephant Scat
Elephant and scat or ?? do? From the location of the scat in the pen I wonder if the elephants are saying something to the patrons of the zoo? They could do their business in the back, out of sight. Instead, they do it near the fence where the viewing public stands. One of life’s minor mysteries, I guess.
