Turtles at Green Lake. A few years ago I recall seeing maybe 5 or 6 turtles residing on the lake. This day I counted over a dozen, including many youngsters. Must be a good habitat for the turtles to live and even thrive in. Very exciting.

Early Fall at Green Lake.
Green Lake has a really nice path for running/walking around the perimeter of the lake. The distance around the lake on this path is just under 3 miles.

Test posting to see if things are working. Sorry about repeating the image. I uploaded this image after resizing it in GIMP, a freeware photo editing software package.
Due to the motherboard crashing on our PC the other day I will not be posting new images until I can retrieve my image library from the old hard drive. Should only be a few days till things are up and running again. I do have some of my library backed up on an external hard drive, but not all. I guess this is the lesson: backup everything.
Thanks for your patience.

Lily Pads on Green Lake.
The yellow leaves of a tree hanging over the water is reflected in the lake water. It’s really cool when the camera picks up things the human eye does not.
The day was so clear colors seemed to be intensified.
Fall comes to Green Lake in Seattle. The lake is just a few moments drive north from the core business area of downtown Seattle. I took a walk around the lake today, a beautiful Fall afternoon and took many images. In the following days I will post some of the wonderful imagery I discovered.
