Update:

I have been posting in a hit and miss manner lately. The reason for this is that I have been out of town for nearly two weeks and am now at home spending time editing the over 400 images I took when I was away. My apologies for posting in an erratic fashion. I will get back on track soon.

Channel

Duwamish River at 14th St. Bridge. These pilings, I believe, were put in place to guide the large ships through the narrow passage of the drawbridge. Right now construction of the new bridge is progressing. They are building the cofferdams for the new bridge using the large crane seen in a previous post.

Paddling in Pairs

Paddling along the Duwamish River in the morning. The banks of the river are lined with algae-c0vered boulders, cement blocks and general riprap. Note: At the risk of patting myself on the back, I really did like the tone of the color of the water in the duck photo posted here.

Leavenworth, Wa.

Some views of the Wenatchee River at Leavenworth. Sorry about the blurry jumper photo. Normally I wouldn’t post something blurred-at least intentionally. The jumper caught me by surprise and I had to shift the camera at the last second to catch him in the frame.
