There are quite a few metal scrapyards along the Duwamish River here in Seattle. This one, adjacent to the 8th St. Park ( actually a micro-park) closed recently. Now they have the daunting task of cleaning up the grounds.

Intent to Demolish

This building, in NE Portland, is slated to be demolished soon. I looked in a window and could see that the interior, due to a leaky roof, has lots of black mold. The building is located in a residential area, but may at one time been a commercial venture. My guess would be that some developer will build a couple of houses on the lot. Keep you posted.

Derelict houses and outbuildings along the Green River. I’m not sure how or why the pallet got placed at the top of the dead tree below, but 25 feet up, there it is?
