Finding Warmer Climes
While the temp outside hangs around 28 degrees I thought I needed to be reminded of a warmer place and time. These two images were shot at a California Mission, probably Camino Real or Mission Soledad.

Tree Twists and Tops
From the Sabin Plateau looking down on the Irvington area of NE Portland. Twisting tree at the bottom was an eye-catcher for me.

I thought the blue background worked in an interesting way with the red of the Japanese Maple.

Milestone: 200th Follower
Moments ago this photoblog reached a milestone. There are now 200 Followers of “Bluestar2012”. The 200th Follower is: ‘Lemanshots’, from Munich, Germany. Thanks to you and the other 199 faithful Followers! I started this photoblog on Feb. 2, 2009. It has been quite a journey. Thanks so much to everyone who has visited this site.
