  1. The second image appeals to me more than the first one.

    it’s the sense of movement and direction that the river provides, instead of the more static shore shot.

    also, the green is a lovely contrast with the sand


  2. Thanks for your thoughts, Nina. I agree, the first photo is just too static and really has no focal point. I have some new images of the river and canyon I took this past weekend during a one day road trip. I’ll be posting some of those soon. I focused more on the plant life this time around, but I did take some landscape-like shots as well.
