While the temp outside hangs around 28 degrees I thought I needed to be reminded of a warmer place and time. These two images were shot at a California Mission, probably Camino Real or Mission Soledad.

Fall Flora Continues
I still have a bit of an inventory of Fall images to post. I hope they are visually interesting and don’t bore the visitors to the site to sleep or worse…..Due to timing and circumstances ( weather, etc.) I have not been able to pursue some photo ideas and field trips this Fall. Hopefully I will get the opportunity soon.

Fall Colors
Taken at Lincoln Park, near our home, in West Seattle. I found one tree that kept me busy shooting for quite a few minutes. It’s amazing the range of colors visible on just one tree. The process of decay is in stages that I find fascinating, but I am sure there is a rational, scientific explanation. I prefer the mysterious 🙂.

Peninsula Park, NE Portland
Peninsula Park was the original ‘Rose Garden’ in Portland, OR. Located in NE Portland I would guess city officials decided that a park like this should be located closer to downtown.
Sunset on the Hudson River
Taken adjacent to the Circle Line Pier on Manhattan, an attempt at catching the sun go down.
Daffodils and Ducks ( er…Geese )
Taken at one of my favorite Seattle locations, South Park.
