Our daughter’s family ( who live in Portland, OR.) has a next door neighbor named Mary. When Mary is away at work I stealthily walk around her backyard flower garden with my camera. Here are some results of those clandestine adventures.
Part II: Located in County Roscommon, Ireland, Strokestown Manor is also the location of the National Famine Museum in Ireland. Beautiful grounds and lots of history.
The Abbey and the Walled Garden. The Victorian Gardens are in the process of being restored. All of the Sisters at the Abbey, a total of 5 or 6 still working at the Abbey doing baking for the gift shop cafe and the balance are retired and living out their lives in this spectacular setting. Really an amazing place! This huge Abbey stands alone in an area nearly unoccupied.
Was out shooting in one of my favorite Seattle neighborhoods yesterday, Georgetown. Ran across these corn stalks next to a brick building. The stalks were at least 20′ high!
