Fall at Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park, a city park, is only about 1.5 miles from our home. Most of the trees in the park are evergreens, however there are a few small groves of deciduous trees that really add some color to the park this time of year.

Droplet
It seems like the water droplet actually magnifies what it is resting on. I’m sure there is some law of optical physics going on here. Maybe I am on to something? Well…..not likely.

Volunteer Park Conservatory, Pt.4

Two more examples of plants from the conservatory. Cactus pedal seems to be carefully cradling a large droplet of water ( not put there by me ). The blue background foliage on the other plant seems to somehow carry over to the yellow leaf of the above plant.
