The place where the back hoe is parked used to be a white house where a lawyer’s offices were located for many years. The image of the wreckage of a commercial building is what used to be Bank of America, on Broadway. From what I understand they had a lot of trouble destroying the vault, which is comforting. I think many people will think this is a fitting end to a Bank of America facility.
Construction Wall
Wall surrounding the construction site on Capitol Hill. Rather than plain plywood it is nice to see artists were contracted to liven it up.

Tulips
Be forewarned, over the next few weeks I will be posting some of the tulip images I have taken ( I have plenty). This building, located on the corner of a lot, is actually triangular in shape. Pretty amazing.
Downriver
Down river, the Willamette does seem large and powerful. You can see two bridges in the background. Love all of the bridges connecting different parts of Portlandia.
