A ceramic heron placed in the pond at Volunteer Park. There are Koi in the pond who I think must suffer from chronic anxiety, being watched over by a ‘heron’ all day.
I just discovered a folder full of images from this park in downtown Portland as well as other locations. The photos were shot the last week of August and somehow I just lost track of this particular folder. A warning: I may be posting a lot of duck, pond and waterfall photos this week and next.
Winter shades on the lake.
A rock along the Duwamish River seemed to be partially shrunk-wrapped. I was not sure whether to view it as waste or art. Any ideas?
