

There are about a half a dozen historic homes on Alameda St. in NE Portland. This is the Edward and Bertha Keller Home, an English Cottage Revival built in 1924.

Alameda St., in NE Portland, is a pretty posh neighborhood. I guess posh does not exclude being a bit different? The entrance door reminds me of a checker board. I am not sure why someone would place a life-size replica of a jockey on their property.

Seems like the builder may have ordered too many cornices so they were just attached in a spot few would see. From a design standpoint it looks a bit odd.
