The back side of a section of the Seattle Brewing and Malt Co. Crumbling bricks, vegetation growing out of the wall and just general decay.
Stone Ground Mill
The van used to belong to the Boeing Company. Not sure how it ended up here, at the mill. The driver’s side window is gone so it doesn’t take much of an imagination to guess what the interior looks like.

Located at 26th and Yancy in Seattle, the sad remains of Stone Ground Mills. Looks like the company owners just walked away one day.
Another Look
I thought this commercial space was worth another look. The previous posting of this image could not be enlarged. Hopefully some of the folksy objects will be more visible in this image.
Even Cowgirls…….
Cowgirls Espresso, just around the corner from The Hangar Cafe. The yellow sign posted on the right side of the building warns customers not to use a camera or video equipment. My guess is that the customers are drawn to Cowgirls Espresso for the unusual and kitschy architecture, but I could be wrong.

Neon sign by day , this ‘Georgetown’ sign is just as eclectic as this neighborhood. I need to take a night shot of this sign.
Art Deco
Looks a little like Art Deco. A lot of work went into this light fixture.
Post Grafitti
It’s possible that the original grafitti in this spot was more appealing to look at than this remedy.

For some reason this painting reminds me of the David Bowie song of the 80’s.
