A few iconic views from the Staten Island Ferry; Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and Governors Island ( which was just purchased by the city of New York ).

Steel Bridge
Steel Bridge crosses the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon. Multi-use bridge that accommodates cars, buses, light rail, Amtrak, pedestrians and bikes.
From the Staten Island Ferry
Looking back at lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge from the Staten Island Ferry. There was quite a crowd of people standing on the aft end of the ferry taking pictures. I thought I had a good spot to shoot from, but was soon overrun by camera-clutching tourists pushing me around as everyone jockeyed around for that ‘perfect spot’. A bit crazy, but riding the ferry is a good way to see lower Manhattan and the east channel, downtown Brooklyn, etc.

North Tower- Two Views
These two images were taken minutes apart.

Above the Fog

Two more views from the Marin Headlands. Interesting to watch the fog move over the Headlands, hugging the ground.
Foggy morning

A partial view of each tower of the GG Bridge on this very foggy morning.
Over the Willamette River
One of several bridges crossing over the Willamette River into downtown Portland.
Golden Gate Bridge #3
The last image in this series.
Golden Gate Bridge #2
Film print scanned into computer. #2 of 3 images of the bridge I took one morning while walking across the bridge and back with my son in law.
Bridge, Sky & Island
Brooklyn Bridge

On the Staten Island Ferry looking back at Lower Manhattan. Just an amazing view. Thought I would dig into my NY images today.
Around town. La Connor, pt. 2
Since the tulips were not out I spent some time walking around. I thought I might spot the author Tom Robbins, who lives in La Connor. No such luck. No tulips, no Tom Robbins, but a few other items of interests.
