From the Staten Island Ferry
Looking back at lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge from the Staten Island Ferry. There was quite a crowd of people standing on the aft end of the ferry taking pictures. I thought I had a good spot to shoot from, but was soon overrun by camera-clutching tourists pushing me around as everyone jockeyed around for that ‘perfect spot’. A bit crazy, but riding the ferry is a good way to see lower Manhattan and the east channel, downtown Brooklyn, etc.
Tour Boat and Dog
Dogs are not allowed on this beach, leashed or not. Some dog owners need to pay attention to the posted signs and perhaps even follow the instructions.

On a very cool Fall afternoon you can see the Olympic Mts. in the background.

Green Lake Bathhouse
Green Lake Playhouse from across the lake. This is a really small theatre that is a fun venue to watch plays.
