This summer work was done on Alberta St. Underneath the asphalt surface there was a layer of red brick and underneath the brick there were the tracks and ties to the old streetcar tracks that used to run along Alberta St. many decades ago. It was fun to watch the dig in progress, not knowing exactly what they would unearth. Some of the streetcar track was set aside for historical or artistic reasons.
