Thinking, or Thumb-Sucking Gargolye

I’m not sure why people put these gargoyle-like items in and around their gardens. This one seems more benevolent than most, but still it kind of creeps me out. I always feel a sense of negativity when I look at one. Maybe this is a thumb-sucking gargoyle?

you probably had a past life in a medieval era when these gargoyles had real meaning for keeping demons away. Your anathema to the “ugly” is a natural thing. Humans are neuralogically drawn to things that we deem ‘beautiful’ – they bring out the serotonin in us all.

Since I’ve always been opposite (or so it seems) of the rest of the world, I like gargoyles. Not the ugly nasty ones, but I always put a few out at Halloween. Steve won’t let me keep them out the rest of the year. This guy does seem to be sucking his thumb. Maybe he’s a baby. As I understand them, they are supposed to be helpmates and ward off evil. Nice pic of the guy though, regardless of your personal feelings.
