The blue behind these busts is beautiful. The trees were just beginning to bud and this day brought out buds even as we walked around the park. I don’t know why Moore and Mozart are together n this area. Lincoln was there, too. I wonder what brings these figures together in this area. Most of the other busts were of musical figures. Moore was a preacher and a Columbia college – (now University) president. Mozart was never even in the US, I believe. It is interesting how these collections get together – I would like to know the history of it.
