I guess it makes some sort of sense that this image follows the last. At the marina in Brookings, Or. this boat was moored and caught my attention.

Final Spot
This small flower garden is the last spot where we dispersed some of my dad’s ashes. Aside from the gravesite where the bulk of his remains were buried in what is called a funeral urn ( some type of plastic container ) we spread the rest of his ashes in five different locations along the California coast as well as three inland sites. This garden is in the Mission Soledad outside of Salinas, Ca. We also placed some of his ashes in a lettuce field. He spent some time ( Jr. High/High School) in the Salinas area. His dad was a state inspector, mostly working the packing houses of Salinas. The lettuce fields in Salinas seem to go on forever, into the horizon. Just amazingly large.
Little Joe

The blue of the Little Joe caught my eye. Most boats seemed to be white with the trim being a darker color.
End of a Day

The setting sun in Brookings. Pelican to the right and the entry way into the marina on the left. The sun seems a little unusual in both images.
