A bush in my neighbor’s yard that seems to attract hummingbirds. So much so that I moved my hummingbird feeder a few feet from this bush, with no luck in attracting the birds to the feeder.

Address, not my age
Although some days I feel this age this is actually an address in Post Alley, which I guess is a bit odd in itself.
Orange Balloons
Seen in Pike Place Market.
Sweet
A closer look at another item on the Post Alley wall.
A Closer Look
Moving a little closer the details of the wall start to manifest. There are all sorts of romantic messages, numbers and, well quite a variety of pieces ( no pun intended) that represent a range of thoughts.
Gum Wall or Art?
Brick wall in Post Alley. I mentioned in a post yesterday that I would show the wall on the left. This is a small section of that wall. Chewing gum or art?
Post Alley#3
Post Alley looking south. Tomorrow a closer look at what you see on the wall on the left.
Post Alley#2

On the right, The Alibi Room.
Rack of Bikes, Pike Place Market
Bicycles parked on a fence in Pike Place Market. Looks a little unorthodox, but it works. I wonder what the young man is thinking?
Post Alley
Post Alley, adjacent to Pike Place Market. Like most alleys it is a bit dark, but it is a fun to place to walk during the day.

Photo Clones?
These two blossoms seem nearly identical. Maybe they are one and the same?

White Blossom
I believe this blossom is from an apple tree, but could be wrong. Just missing a bumble bee.
Campanula Rotundifolia
Growing in a pot on our deck. One of those wispy flowers that seem so delicate a slight breeze would damage them. They seem to survive just fine, though.
Day Lilly-almost
I think this is the only day lilly I have this year and it is a bit damaged from a hail shower we had a couple of weeks ago. My guess is that it will be orange in color.
Sun Flower
A plant to brighten up the day. In Seattle we use the sun flower as an artificial version of the sun. On cloudy days I put my sun glasses on and stand in front of the sun flower, ever mindful to not look directly into the plant.
Red Blossom
Flowers today.
Milestone
Closer view of a floribunda rose from our yard. Today this blog hit the 1,000 views mark!
Yellow jacket
Yellow jacket busy at work.
Floribunda Rose
We have a Floribunda rose in our rainwater garden. The richness of the red tone of the flower has been elusive to me. A couple of my efforts posted here, with different backgrounds.

Rose, as a name, has been a thread in my family. My maternal grandmothers name was Rose, our daughter’s middle name is Rose as is her daughter. Rose was the name of the mid-wife who helped deliver our daughter.
