I get the Daylily confused with the Tiger Lily. I’m still not sure which is which, even after looking at photos. I have a few of these (fill in the blank)—–lilies in our yard.

Flower from the Past
I was looking through some folders that have some images taken with my Minolta X-700. This is a scanned image that I found and thought it would be nice to share. Something about film images that digital SLR’s can’t duplicate.
On a cloudy day
This flower looks very unenthusiastic. Maybe it is the weather?
Orange Burst
Spotted in the Sabin area of Portland, Or.
Rose
A rose received by my wife from a parent or student.
Shades of Pink
This plant is in our garden. I wish I could remember what it is. I want to say cosmos, but I think that would be wrong. The name tag I always put next to plants is missing.
Hiding
From our garden. Bush bean blossom.
Lupine and Thumbells
From our planter boxes.

Here’s looking at you….
A posting less serious than my usual fare….

Trainspotting in Seattle
Amtrak Cascades heading to King St. Station in Seattle.

Tile
Was out at Carkeek Park in NW Seattle two days ago taking photos of the Whitman M.S. annual picnic. While shooting the students and some of the activities I snuck in a dozen or so photos for myself. I thought this tile work was pretty cool.
